Freelance and Contract Graphic Designer

Darby Design is a boutique digital and print graphic design studio in Brisbane, Australia. I hold a Bachelor in Visual Communication with a major in photography, completed in 2009. I have since worked in high energy, fast paced studios on projects from startups, to multi-million dollar companies. My passion for nurturing client relationships and producing quality design has achieved results in the education, mining, government and corporate industries.

I specialise in studio overflow, working with studios and internal marketing teams all over Australia, to complete short-term graphic design requirements. No holiday pay, no sick pay, no annual leave. I work only when you need me - a day, week, month or quarter. You could be temporarily short staffed while you search for that perfect fit, not quite ready to expand your team, or have a short term increase in work load.

For larger jobs, I work with a team of trusted specialists who excel in their fields of web design, market research, illustration and photography. So my team contracts and expands as you need us. That’s how we keep our rates lean - you only pay for what you need.

Due to the confidentiality of the work I do, I respect my clients requests to remain anonymous, so not all work is visible here. I take great pride in making sure they still get all the credit! So if you would like to know more about who I work with and what work we do, I’ll love to have a chat.
